Whats the Point?? Repointing

Repointing is the process of renewing the pointing (the external part of mortar joints) inmasonry construction. Over time, weathering and decay cause voids in the joints between masonry units (usually bricks) allowing the undesirable entrance of water. Water entering through these voids can cause significant damage through frost weathering and from salt dissolution and deposition. Repointing is also called pointing, or pointing up, although these terms more properly refer to the finishing step in new construction

Why do i Need it ?
Over a period of years, a wall can lose some or all of the mortar holding the bricks together , and after too long, will become penetrated by damp.
Maintaining the mortar is important in protecting the structure of the wall.
If the damage is concentrated in just one area, then it is possible to repoint just that area. However, the newly pointed patch will stand out clearly, we will honestly say we strive for the Best finishing off
